What should I send for a window-cleaning estimate?
Send your property address, photos of each side of the home, and an approximate window count if known. Say whether you want exterior glass, interior glass, screens, or frames and sills cleaned. Include close-ups of hard-water staining or other concerns so Kyle can review the scope and access.
Are screens included automatically?
Screen cleaning is available as a separate option so you can select only what your windows need.
What about hard-water staining?
Hard-water stain removal is a specialty add-on. The final result depends on the severity and how long the minerals have been present.
Can you remove chalky oxidation from window frames?
Specialty treatment is available for light-to-moderate exterior frame oxidation on first- and second-floor windows. Kyle checks the finish and tests a small area before treatment. Frame cleaning is included, while glass cleaning is priced separately. Severe oxidation, oversized frames, or difficult access require a personalized estimate. Permanent fading, corrosion, or damaged coatings may remain; this service does not include painting or refinishing.
How are French-pane windows counted?
French-pane windows use their own estimator option because the additional detail work affects the service.
Do you clean second-story exterior windows?
Yes, when the windows can be reached safely with current equipment. Difficult access, unusual height, steep ground, or obstacles are reviewed before service is confirmed.
Do you clean interior glass too?
Interior glass can be included after Kyle reviews the window count, access, condition, and requested scope. Interior access and preparation are confirmed before scheduling.
Do I need to be home for exterior window cleaning?
Usually not if Kyle has clear exterior access, unlocked gates, and any special instructions. Windows should be fully closed and locked, pets kept inside, and fragile items moved away from exterior sills.
Can cleaning fix fog or haze between window panes?
No. Fogging or haze between panes usually indicates a failed seal inside an insulated glass unit. Exterior cleaning can improve the outside surface but cannot repair a failed seal or remove moisture trapped between panes.
